THE GOAL :
As the Creative Director of Anne Klein, Paula’s goal was to expand and grow the Anne Klein brand. Evolve the aesthetic of the footwear to have more trend influence and capture a wider audience through fresh looks and a more expansive assortment of categories.
THE RESULT :
At Paula’s direction and strategic brand reinvention, a new chapter for the Anne Klein footwear brand was created. Through her thoughtful design leadership, trend direction and comfort innovation, the customer base to grow exponentially. She increased the audience by evolving the median age range from 70 to 43 years old and thus, opened the brand up to a much larger market . Through her lens, she incorporated fresh trends sprinkled with the Anne Klein legacy tenets of elegance and femininity to modernize the brand’s design direction . She introduced new categories of footwear, growing the style assortment. She created & launched new exclusive comfort features to elevate product quality and fit. Designing innovative and unique luxury comfort insoles and outsoles, she developed a modern aesthetic that ushered in the renaissance of the Anne Klein woman. The footwear collection was effectively transformed and expanded to honor the legacy DNA of the Anne Klein brand. By infusing new trend forward concepts & embracing innovative design elements, the collection was enhanced, the brand was complemented and the customer was enriched. Paula’s precise focus on product integrity, design leadership and brand transformation created a 30 million dollar sales growth for the Anne Klein footwear brand, propelling it into a new era.
